Classics Craver
My favorite authors include
Milton, Sophocles, and Dickens. In college, I had dreams of becoming a
concert pianist, but it wasn't for me. So now, relaxing in the evening
means conducting along with recordings of my favorite symphonies. There's
something about the classics that have always drawn me in. Magic happens
when I hear the key of "A" minor. I'm breathless when a violinist sits
and raises the bow. Even better is the sound of silence between movements
as I wait to hear what follows the last note. Whether it's Bach, Shakespeare
or ballet, the unique style, the history in each word or note, and dynamic
ability to conjure up images of perfection put them in a class of their
own.
