Anchorage Concert Association is proud to present Girl Crush Summer at Hilltop Ski Area for the finale of the Summer Concert Series 2024 - bringing live music right to your neighborhood.

Finn's Kitchen will be open for food and drink service, Atlas Roaming Kitchen & What The Fork will be on site selling food, and we will be holding a drawing for a 3-show subscription to our 2024/2025 season at the end of the show! 

ABOUT THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES  
The Summer Concert Series features local artists in neighborhoods across Anchorage. A partnership with Anchorage Concert Association and Anchorage Park Foundation, this free concert series brings people together in their own neighborhoods to enjoy live music and the beauty of our parks and trails. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Atwood Foundation and Brian & Joanne Bennett. 

ABOUT GIRL CRUSH SUMMER
Girl Crush Summer is a version of Girl Crush Friday, Anchorage's premier all-female concert series, showcasing some of the finest local, regional, and national female musicians at the iconic Van's Dive Bar. Hosted by the local singer/songwriter Pepper Kit and her manager Candlewick Studios, Girl Crush events champion diversity, showcasing a range of talent and genres. Get ready for immersive performances, a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, and a night of celebrating the power of women in music. Girl Crush Summer is featuring live music from Murmur, Pepper Kit, and The Forest That Never Sleeps.

ABOUT MURMUR
Murmur began in 2019 as the folk duo of Courtney Griechen and Skylar Foks and has evolved into an indie folk rock four-piece with bassist Kevin Shepeski and drummer James Daggett. They’ve spent the last few years playing festivals and venues around Alaska, briefly touring with the Screaming Females in early 2023, and recording their first album set for release sometime in 2024.

ABOUT PEPPER KIT
One of Alaska's fastest-growing artists, Pepper Kit has been captivating the local music scene after launching her music career in late-2019. Her empowering originals will hit you right in the feels with their beautiful melodies and raw, relatable lyrics. Pepper is the mastermind behind the Girl Crush event series. She’s funny, honest, and a bit lovingly self-deprecating, treating every audience like they’re close friends. Pepper Kit released her debut EP “Stranger” in July 2022 and is currently working on producing new music.
