ABOUT THE SUMMER CONCERT SERIES
The Summer Concert Series features local artists in neighborhoods across Anchorage. A partnership with Anchorage Concert Association and Anchorage Park Foundation, this free concert series brings people together in their own neighborhoods to enjoy live music and the beauty of our parks and trails. The Summer Concert Series is sponsored by Atwood Foundation, ConocoPhillips Alaska, and Joanne & Brian Bennett.

ABOUT WILEY POST
A long time ago, a drummer lived in one side of a duplex while a guitarist lived on the other. Neither could file noise complaints.

After finding more friends to play with, Wiley Post was formed in January 2020. Wiley Post is named after a road in Spenard, Alaska that the band drove past over and over while commuting to practices in each other’s homes in the neighborhood. That road was named after a man that died in Alaska. RIP Wiley Post

Wiley Post sounds like a lot of Northern bands, indie rock with lyrics about plants, runs in the mountains, and the feeling of heartbreak that can only be amplified by long, dark winters.
