From the islands of Hawai‘i to the world stage, their music is rooted in tradition and shared in the spirit of aloha.

Featuring three celebrated masters, George Kahumoku Jr., Sonny Lim, and Herb Ohta Jr., this performance brings together the rich, distinctive sounds of slack key guitar, ʻukulele, and lap steel guitar. Each artist is an award-winning musician, carrying forward generations of Hawaiian musical tradition while sharing their artistry as performers, storytellers, and composers.

Together, they explore the uniquely Hawaiian style of kī-hō‘alu (slack key guitar), alongside ʻukulele and vocals, tracing a lineage that dates back to the 19th century. From Kahumoku’s storytelling and Grammy-winning legacy to Lim’s deep roots in Hawaiian music and steel guitar to Ohta Jr.’s expressive ʻukulele playing, each brings a distinct voice to a shared cultural expression.

Warm, melodic, and deeply rooted in place, this is music that reflects Hawai‘i’s history, its people, and its enduring traditions, offered with generosity, skill, and heart.

Subscription tickets start at $39.75. Box office tickets start at $53. Learn more about subscription options here.
