If you ever daydream about traveling to Ireland, you undoubtedly imagine dancing to the sounds of quintessential Irish tunes. That fantasy music you hear? It probably sounds a lot like Dervish. One of the biggest names in Celtic music internationally, they’re renowned for live performances which match dazzling sets of tunes with stunning interpretations of traditional songs.

The band has recorded and toured together for more than 25 years, blending the iconic sounds of fiddle, whistle, the guitar-like bouzouki, accordion, bones, and the bodhran drum. Dervish is graced with one of the country’s best-known singers in Cathy Jordan, who sings with an otherworldly voice in Gaelic and English.

At this show, St. Patrick’s Day rules apply: When Dervish comes to Alaska, everyone is Irish!

Tickets start at $32.50, or $26 with a subscription of 3 or more shows.
