Neko Case Tiny Desk Concert

I first saw Neko Case when I attended Bumbershoot about 12 years ago in Seattle and instantly fell in love. My tastes tend to run to the dark, so it was natural for me to be attracted to her sometimes melancholy sound. Her performance was haunting and intimate, even in the biggest festival venue at Seattle Center. Her voice has been described as staggering, a force of nature, and powerful. I got a feel for all that standing in the middle of Seattle Center under the shadow of the Space Needle. She has quite the pedigree of performance working with the likes of the New Pornographers and k.d. lang.
