Anchorage, AK – The Anchorage Concert Association, the state’s largest arts and entertainment presenter, is bringing cult classics, YouTube sensations, and crowd favorites to Alaska for its 2022/2023 season.

Eisenhower Dance Detroit is a dance company that makes the 600 year old art form of ballet versatile, fun, and totally accessible.


Neko Case's performances are haunting and intimate, even in the biggest of festival venues. With a career spanning over twenty years, she has famously collaborated with The New Pornographers and Case/Lang/Veirs in addition to releasing many critically acclaimed solo albums, including ‘Fox Confessor Brings The Flood’, ‘Middle Cyclone’ and most recently 2018’s ‘Hell-On’.


Cuban big band Orquesta Akokán brings contemporary sensibilities mixed with a deep spiritual reservoir and knowledge of folkloric traditions to propel their grooves into previously uncharted vistas, all while dismantling the conventions of what is considered mambo.


Known for an innovative approach to music inspired by American and Latin cultures, Latinx rock’n’rollers Making Movies are “breaking down walls in the U.S” (Rolling Stone). The foursome showcase their Latin American roots by incorporating traditional instruments like the Panamanian mejorana, and swapping drums and percussion for a dueling zapateado huasteco.

The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without The Nutcracker. This extravaganza is a timeless tradition for the whole family. Clara’s dreams will transport you to the Snow Kingdom and the Land of the Sweets with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Drift away into this beloved story as the 45-piece Anchorage Symphony Orchestra sets the tone for Eugene Ballet Company's magical sets and exquisite choreography.


Expanding on the boundaries of what an indie-folk band can be, Laura Cortese & the Dance Cards take their extensive string music background, add their knowledge of folk and roots music, and incorporate an edgy pop sensibility to create their latest album, BITTER BETTER.


2022 will officially mark 25 years of ukulele innovators, Kanekoa, the band of limitless  possibilities. Kanekoa is one of Hawaii’s premier live music experiences, consistently selling out shows wherever they perform. Playing what is described as “ukulele-powered Hawaiian jam-rock,” their sound is based on the untapped potential of the electrified Hawaiian ukulele.


Cirque Mechanics has established itself as a premiere American circus, with its unique approach to performance, inspirational storytelling, and innovative mechanical staging.


After back-to-back sold out shows in Anchorage, the mobile guitar festival and fan favorite International Guitar Night returns to Anchorage with a new cast of guitar luminaries. They will perform solos, duets, and quartets that highlight the virtuosity and diversity in the world of acoustic guitar.

Pink Martini performs its multilingual repertoire on concert stages throughout the world, having played on every continent except Antarctica, including three sold-out stops in Anchorage. Impossible to categorize, their sound draws from myriad influences, spanning the globe, cultures, genres and time.

Post-post-modern cabaret diva Meow Meow has hypnotized, inspired, and terrified audiences from New York’s Lincoln Center to the Sydney Opera House with her exquisite voice and hilarious mayhem.


One of the country’s pre-eminent singer/songwriters, Rosanne Cash has released 15 albums of extraordinary songs that have earned four GRAMMY Awards and nominations for 11 more. Cash is also a best-selling author, Nashville Songwriters’ Hall of Fame inductee, and SAG/AFTRA Lifetime Achievement award winner. In addition to continual worldwide touring, Cash has partnered in programming or served as artist in residence at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, San Francisco Jazz, the Minnesota Orchestra and The Library of Congress.


With a mix of fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, Skerryvore represent the best in contemporary Scottish traditional music.  Their 6 studio albums demonstrate the wide range of influences the individual musicians bring to the mix – a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock and Americana, with even some jazz in there!


Hailed by NPR as “one of America’s defining voices of freedom and peace,” Mavis Staples is the kind of once-in-a-generation artist whose impact on music and culture would be difficult to overstate. She’s both a Blues and a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer; a civil rights icon; a GRAMMY Award-winner; a chart-topping soul/gospel/R&B pioneer; a National Arts Awards Lifetime Achievement recipient; and a Kennedy Center honoree. She marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., performed at John F. Kennedy’s inauguration, and sang in Barack Obama’s White House. She’s collaborated with everyone from Prince and Bob Dylan to Arcade Fire and Hozier, blown away countless festivalgoers from Newport Folk and Glastonbury to Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, performed with The Band at The Last Waltz, and graced the airwaves on Fallon, Colbert, Ellen, Austin City Limits, Jools Holland, the GRAMMYs, and more.

Vintage soul group Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio mixes the unmistakable Hammond B3 organ with dirty guitar lines and old-school pocket drumming.


Formed in in 2009, Tuba Skinny has steadily evolved from a loose collection of street musicians into a solid ensemble dedicated to bringing the traditional New Orleans sound to audiences around the world. Drawing on a wide range of musical influences—from spirituals to Depression-era blues, from ragtime to traditional jazz—their sound evokes the rich musical heritage of their New Orleans home.
