Taking a break to celebrate

Fireworks. Hooray!

Wishing you a happy 4th of July holiday while we are out of the office

A message from our Community Engagement Director:

Anchorage Concert Association staff will be out of the office between July 3 and 12. We’ll be back in our home offices starting July 13, renewed and refreshed to answer any questions you might have for us. While we are holding off on concerts through the end of 2020, please  know that we’re working everyday to make sure the future of performing arts in Anchorage, AK is bright.

What’s on my to do list for the next few days, you ask?

  • Alternating between repeated streams of Hamilton (Disney+) and Eurovision (Netflix) for hours, perhaps days on end
  • Enjoying Alaska’s social-distance accommodating magnificence via bike and foot.
  • Getting around to the yard chores I’ve been putting off
  • Reflecting on the amazing support Anchorage Concerts has received from our community.

Over recent weeks we’ve heard from so many of you through phone calls, emails, donations, and even masked conversations at the grocery store. The support and love for what we do has been overwhelming. It’s never been clearer just how vital live performance is to our community. It’s with that understanding, that I’ll spend time during this 4th of July weekend reflecting on the past and future of Anchorage Concerts with a great sense of gratitude and optimism.

During our brief hiatus, you can feel free to email us at info@anchorageconcerts.org, or leave a voicemail at (907) 272-1471, and we’ll be sure to get back to you the week of July 13. If you’re holding tickets to one of our postponed shows and would like to make any changes, you can find more info here.

Above all else enjoy the 4th of July holiday and take care of yourself and those around you.
